Data
This section provides access to different types of data generated by ORASECOM initiatives and projects. This includes:
- Model Data – Mathematical models for hydrological and water resource systems analyses are used by ORASECOM for short- , medium- and long-term planning of the basin’s water balances, i.e. water availability versus water requirements. These models were used to develop the basin’s Integrated Water Resources Management Plan (IWRMP). The model configurations are provided in the Model Data section below.
- Other data: Water resource management and planning requires input from a wide range of scientific disciplines, such as climatological hydrological, engineering, aquatic ecosystem, economic, demographic and many more. The datasets used during the ORASECOM projects and initiatives are provided here for future reuse.
- Spatial Data – A dedicated ORASECOM GIS Server with several spatial dataset can be accessed here: gis.orasecom.org. The spatial datasets listed below are raw remote sensing datasets and other very large spatial datasets that are too large for effective storage on the GIS Server but can be downloaded for local usage.
