kalahari_acacia=Covering only a very small portion of the Orange-Senqu River basin in Botswana, just to the west of Gaborone, the Kalahari Acacia-Baikiaea Ecoregion is part of the Tropical and Subtropical Grasslands, Savannas and Shrublands Biome. This ecoregion is arid with a sparse human population, supporting rich and diverse fauna. While population is low, livestock farming is spreading and impacting large herbivore migration across the region.
