draken_alti=Part of the Afrotropics region and the Montane Grasslands and Shrublands Biome, the Drakensberg Alti-Montane Grasslands and Woodlands ecoregion includes the upper-most highlands of the east of Lesotho, bordering South Africa.  This ecoregion covers steep and treeless slopes of the mountain ranges over 2 500 mamsl (metres above mean sealevel).
