Rooiberg_Dam=The Rooiberg Dam is located in South Africa, close to the city of Kenhardt. The dam stores water from the Hartbeers River, and was updated in 1983. It has a reservoir capacity of 3,7 Mm³.<p>The dam provides a unique opportunity for bird viewing -  About 124 different species of birds  were identified.</p>
<p>The building of the dam started in 1898.   The nearly finished dam wall broke during a thunder storm.  It was rebuilt 1931.</p>
