Koppies_Dam=The Koppies Dam is located in South Africa, close to the city of Koppies. The dam stores water from the Renoster river, and was completed in 1978. It has a reservoir capacity of 40,7 Mm³. The nearby Koppies Dam Game Reserve comprises mainly mixed grassland with dense acacia thickets, together with willow trees along the Renoster river. The reserve boasts a checklist of about 250 bird species, approximately 160 of which are common or regularly seen.
