Water Infrastructure: Dams and Infrastructure:

Botswana

No major infrastructure such as dams or weirs are found on either the Molopo or Nossob rivers within or along the border of Botswana (ORASECOM 2007d).  Water reticulation tends to be generally well established in most, if not all the villages. There is usually a reservoir, which may be supplied from a wellfield or from a water bowser. Water from the storage facility is gravity fed. Reticulation and access to the supply would either be through centrally located public standpipes or yard/home connections.

No major infrastructure is found within the Orange-Senqu River basin in Botswana.
